You Missed One!

Currently my favorite Nerf Blasters for the Office are small arms like the Jolt, Sidestrike, NiteFinder, and... the top contender still... the Firestrike.  Availability, price, and that annoying red light that you can tease coworkers reflexes with (even if you don't have it armed) are among the top points for the Firestrike.  It's also incredibly easy to modify and make more powerful, which works well for an office warfare scenario.

Regardless, the blaster of choice does seem to be front-loading single-shot blasters.  Magazines seem to get in the way for these quick engagements and bigger blasters are tough to conceal.

Today, my face caught plenty of the darts dished out by one of our better shooters in the office.  He did miss one, though...

  1. Jolts and Eliminators are my vote as the best for office warfare. They're simple to use, don't intimidate new comers and are very easy to hand out to co-workers to join in the fun.

    1. I find I prefer X-shot Duals for that... slightly harder to come by, but often much cheaper per unit than jolts and Reflexes are after-season, and they work amazingly with Nerf darts with the two minutes it takes to get the peg out of there. Could likely use one so modded in a NIC pistols round fairly easily, and maybe even do better than some custom blasters do since the spring isn't replaced and it's still easy to load despite the fairly massive range boost.

  2. Why not a triad?

    1. That's a fantastic point... I have no idea why the Triad hasn't been more popular in here. Mine is at home, so maybe I need to bring it back!

  3. So, question here has nothing to do with you post... but what happened to NerfRevolution?

    1. No idea. Honestly, I never really kept up with the big forums. Too much drama and hacking. NRev looks to have gone the way of the Dodo by the looks of it.
